I Make Kimora Look Small

For all you #singlelid #asianeye ladies out there - you CAN have fun with color eyeliner without looking like a raccoon gone swimming.

cultofpretty:

I’m going to argue that this is the easiest way to do “trend” color on eyes - I love the ground floor/top floor approach!

Sidenote: just did a whole post on detachable collars over on Lady.

Tall, tanned and Thai, Ms. Tatim Kanomjang doesn’t disappoint while coexisting with Autumn’s Baroque accents. Follow all 5’9” of her on her Instagram while she documents her day to day activities in Bangkok where she towers over fellow citizens.

Tian Yi for Rad Hourani (Fall/Winter, 12-13)

Only 17, this 5’10” teenager adorned the runways after appearing for the Vera Wang Fall 2012 lookbook. She may be all limbs but hasn’t stumbled yet, bringing her willowy frame across smooth surfaces in seven inch stilettos.
Xiao Wen Ju’s career starting in 2011 backstage in Prada’s campaign then Lane Crawford. Easily standing at 5’9.5”, her moon-shaped face, thick eyebrows and wide set eyes have moved her out of her native Xi’an into the world of Chanel and Marc Jacobs. We’ll be watching her lanky, lumbering frame saunter down more runways and castings.

Perfect summer ensemble paired with brightly colored nails, thanks Liu Wen. *swoons*
Keeping her blonde hair cool and throwing away the Pam-Anderson tan and frosted lipstick, Soo Yoo’s got the cool collected look at 5’10.5”.
So Young Kang had her first stint gracing the 2012 Chanel catwalks but I’m here to praise her print on print ensemble broken up by a navy and toned down with matching accessories (see the bobble beany and her sunglasses?) kawaii-deska! (Yes, I know… completely different language. So can the tall Korean women please tell me how to say “So Cute” in Korean?

While I wouldn’t be considered sky-high, I know exactly how you feel. I’m HUGE for an Asian girl. In fact, so huge in Hong Kong that the drunk men don’t want to pick fights with me.
Did I ever want to be small? Of course. But then I thought about all the maxi-dresses, flats, and ankle-grazing pants I couldn’t wear. So no, love all 140lbs of me!
Yes, they are my parents and yes, I am their daughter.
At least I’m wearing this season’s coral.
I gotta stoop so y’all can hear me cackle!
